Eggs With Yogurt Recipe
Ingredients:
3 large eggs,
1/2 cup Balkan yogurt,
1 tsp. chopped dill, 1 garlic clove, chopped, salt to taste, 3 tbsp. sunflower oil, a dash of paprika.
Recipe:
Heat 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a non-stick pan (cast-iron preferred) and fry the eggs to the desired doneness. In the meantime, mix the yogurt, garlic, salt and fresh dill in a little bowl. Serve the fried eggs in a plate and pour the yogurt sauce over them. Drizzle with the remaining sunflower oil and sprinkle some sweet paprika on top. Tip: In Bulgaria this recipe is always cooked with sunflower oil, but I have tried it with extra virgin olive oil instead and it works equally well.
